There were times where I’d not missed one second of the show in the wee hours of the morning every week! And there where times where I’d defend DD with my life and shoot down the harshest critics! Now, I can only say, how did it come to this? **sigh..

Hey what's up, YTA. I was literally facepalming/cringing all the way through. Even the novel was pretty rushed, but this took FF to a whole new level. And the changes? Omg don't even get me started 🤦‍♂️🤣. I was just talking about all this with other novel readers over on Xin. I know popularity is no indication of quality, but there's a reason there are only 40 comments now lol. It should be pulling 4-5x that to equal past participation. Oh well...we had some great discussions back in the days when we used pull all-nighters waiting for these to post LOL.

How’s the atmosphere at Xin? My only discussion was on Discord Soul Land Channel and everyone was also facepalming there. I saw a ss from Weibo on Mubai, his contorted and weird facial animation would make a very good shock-horror meme. I’m just so surprised that none of the ppl here seem to notice the weird graphics and choppy animation. I read they literally swapped out their director to a new lady just for these 3 episodes. Out of curiosity, i went to Weibo and trust me 99.9% of the Chinese DD fans were calling her out, demanding for a remake or just outright bashing her. I could even feel the outrage and disappointment seeping through wirelessly! Lol!!

Anyway, enough of ranting otherwise I might get blocked and reported by everyone.

So how have you been? Thank God, I was so busy at work and that somehow took my mind off DD when it started going downhill. Right now I’m having a breather, so I started watching a few of the newly released donghuas. You should try Ravages of Time. The martial arts choreography and animation tops Fanren by a mile. It’s just the story is very plot based and sometimes it’s too intense and heavy for a non-Chinese to grasp. If you’ve heard of the ancient Three Kingdoms of China, that’s what the story is loosely based on. Another hugely popular Shrouding the Heavens (that’s actually the sequel of PW) somehow failed to grab me. Otherwise I’m only diligently watching BTTH and PW as my weekly fix.

I very rarely post on Xin, only occasionally when participation is high or there are novel readers with some good insight. But I've been so busy with work and house repairs (hoping to move but it's probably a pipe dream given insane prices) I've had to force myself to stay off forums/Discord cuz this shiz is addictive lol. I think I saw the first couple eps of Ravages of Time. It didn't immediately hook me like other series but I remember being blown away by the animation. When I get a chance I'm gonna give it another shake because BTTH is the only thing I'm really following right now. I really miss Fanren...

It's just laughably bad now. The complete nerfing of TS, the resurrection of Chrysanthemum/Ghost Douluos, the undead bullshit, giant monsters, TS/QR as cheap flashes of light clashing, attacking each other with light scythes/soul power that represent no skill (may as well use blasters from Star Wars). None of it had any impact.

Ikr, TS was passively defending himself 97% of the time, seriously?? What happened to his Sea God power? Ffs, he only used ONE fking time his 13 halberd! Not to mention the kids in the hot air balloon and the gods barging into a couple’s bedroom!!! 🤣🤦‍♂️

as far as large scale battles go..this is one of the best i've seen besides swallowed star. animation, choreography are both top notch. ofc it lacks the tension of a 1v1 battle but im pretty sure we'll get that too.. i suspect bb dong will fight xiao wu and tang san the angel girl. while im a huge fan of fanren in particular and i low key believe nothing compares to it i have to admit duoluo has its own charm. i think its too early to judge the ending before it even happened

Leave the anime community soul land is still superior. What happened to anime lovers nothing but a bunch of whiny bushes these days the only thing more of than me is the people who grew up watching animations in the 60s-80s.

This episode was kinda sad to me. I personally hate when the soul of brave soldiers are used for evil instead of resting peacefully. This mother/daughter duo are truly evil. Destroying the land, killing the people...what will be left for them to rule?

Wow felt like I was watching a Movie today

The studio originally planned to make a movie of 1hr 30 mins as the epilogue but later decided to divide the movie into 3 episodes of 30 mins each. The first one came today, the remaining 2 will be in the following weeks.

What Waste of two god seats on those bitch , although Bidi Dong was doomed to begin with she never had any redeeming qualities about her aside from bering very pretty (I'll give her that woman is smoking hot) but everything else is rotten to the core of course Rakshasa god is also a bad egg but then again knowing what a Rakshasa is makes since I guess . But for Qian Renxiu she had all the chance not ironically walk the same path as her mother but still choose so imagine being a angel god but letting this shit happen she's just as bad as Bidi Dong cause of that, what a waste even though I read the novel still a waste of god seat who obviously their going to lose then . But I'm exited for asura god Tang San Dominance

this Episode is the new Epic entry and Best for this year. be it the fight scene the animation also the details of the story. I still have goosebumps from this episode I hope it continue to be like this

I feel like they've skipped or re-vamped a lot of the plot this was very weak, good animations though, hopefully only a few large scale attacks that leave no terrain damage.

Maybe because the evil god always have power related to death and necromancy..so we would see them pretty often since the god themes are pretty much reuseable same way as the angel and sea god...the three most common deities we see in alot of anime or any animated series or even live action movies....although, usually they would use the angel as the good guys, but for this case, the angel is in cohort with the evil god.

Insane episode from start to finish

i decided to postponed watching it, and waiting for the 2 remaining episodes to enjoy as i would a movie, i think that will be more fulfilling, for the ending o a great series

i know there are many novel readers out there that are majorly disappointed by the changes, where i can whole-heartedly sympathize with you. but for people like myself who has never read the novel, and can only take what i am shown in animation for what the story is and can only be like,

More better than avengers end game

I think in this new arc where 3 GODs (tangSan,Qian Renxiu, BiBiDong) will go free for all fight to death but because of the both bad blood of tang san against the mother and daughter they may both gang up against tang san ended up the fall of tang san as the SEA GOD but his return as an ASURA EVIL GOD that can both dominate ANGEL GOD and Rakshasa DEMON GOD, and If you wonder how did Tang san manage to become asura when Xiao Wu absorbed the legacy inheritance of the ASURA BLADE it's indeed made Xiao Wu as a potential vessel but Tang San who already had acknowledge by the ASURA and as the first candidate the step to become the next inheritor you must have the Death Domain that Tang San obtain when he escape in hell he's already close of being the next Asura GOD than Xiao WU but I guess because of him transforming as ASURA GOD he will go Berserk forgot about who is Foe and allies but I also think that becoming two god entity is not possible but because of Tang San having two martial soul and his Hao Tian Hammer that suitable to inherit ASURA and also as a SEA GOD he can obtain two GOD beings with the SEA GOD divine light he can maintain his sanity while in ASURA FORM.

not a spoiler anymore because it's been circling in the internet and even the Series already pointed out the obvious fact of Tang San's defeat as a Sea GOD but some of that is my own understanding about the plots and I think there's only 2 to 3 episode left to this Series before the opening of the new ARC.
